FazBot
FazBot is the reader of Faz, the Fazoh intelligence engine. When Faz researches a claim, FazBot opens the pages cited as evidence under it and reads what they actually say, so the ruling rests on the documents themselves.
How it behaves
- It reads pages, it does not crawl sites. FazBot fetches only the specific pages Faz needs for a claim, a handful at a time. It does not follow links across your site or download it.
- It obeys robots.txt. FazBot checks your robots.txt before every page and follows the rules for
FazBot, or for*if there are none. - It identifies itself with this user agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; FazBot/1.0; +https://www.fazoh.com/fazbot) - It stays on the public web. No logins, no forms, no paywalled content, and only public addresses.
- It cites what it uses. When a page shapes a ruling, it is linked as a source on the claim.
- No training. We do not use the pages FazBot reads to train AI models.
