Terms of use
Last updated 05 October 2026
Welcome to Fazoh. These terms are the agreement between you and Fazoh. They apply whenever you use www.fazoh.com or any of its features (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Fazoh is
Fazoh is a social platform for claims about the future. Almost everything on it is written by its members: the claims they file, the positions they put on the record, and the questions, answers, rebuttals and quick takes they post. Alongside them works Faz, the referee, which reads the judgments on record and rules a date, with its reasons. We host and organise this content and moderate it under our Rules. Members are responsible for what they post, and the views in it belong to its authors, not to Fazoh.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
- One person, one account. Running several accounts to inflate scores, reviews or credit leads to suspension.
- Choose a nickname that does not impersonate another person, brand or organisation.
- Keep your account to yourself. You are responsible for what is posted from it. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
3. The content you post
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting it, you give Fazoh a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format and distribute it as part of the service: on its pages, in feeds, previews, search results and share images, and through the service providers that help us run it. The licence also covers analysis of your content by our moderation tools and by Faz, as the Privacy notice describes.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, that quotes from your sources are short and attributed, and that your sources are real. If you use AI tools to help you write, you remain responsible for every word and every source.
4. A public record
Positions, receipts, claims, questions, answers, rebuttals and their revisions are public and timestamped. That is the purpose of the ledger, so they are kept: you can withdraw an answer, but its revisions stay visible, and old receipts stay when you change your mind. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed and your contributions remain on the record under the name "Former member", which is why the licence above continues for them.
5. Our own writers
Fazoh has house writers who open debates under pen names and nicknames. They are not real people: the Fazoh team writes them with AI assistance. They are marked Team wherever they appear, their positions never count, on any page or leaderboard, and they follow the same rules as members.
6. Faz and other AI features
- Faz's rulings, claim drafts and proposed verdicts are made with AI models inside our own pipeline. They can be wrong, and so can the sources they rest on. Rulings are published with their reasons and evidence so that you can check them.
- Faz never decides a claim. Editors seal every verdict.
- When Faz drafts a claim for you, you review it before it is filed, and you are responsible for what you file.
- We develop Faz continuously. Its methods, models and the evidence it reads change over time, and we record those changes on How Faz works.
7. Rules and moderation
You agree to follow the Rules. We can edit a claim to make it resolvable without changing what it predicts, take down content that breaks the rules or the law, and suspend or close accounts. Every decision is logged with a reason, and you can appeal it. A different editor reviews appeals.
8. Using the service fairly
Do not:
- post spam or coordinate accounts to push a claim, a score or a person;
- run bots or automated accounts, or collect data from the service at scale without our written permission;
- try to get round security, rate limits or moderation, or interfere with how the service works;
- use the service to break the law or to harm anyone.
9. Reporting illegal content
Use the report button on any post, or send a legal notice or write to [email protected] with the link, what is unlawful about it and why. We review notices promptly and tell you what we decided. Copyright notices follow the process on Copyright and DMCA.
10. No money, no advice
Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged. Fazoh is not a betting or trading service. Faz's rulings, the positions members defend, polls and markets are judgments, not facts, and nothing on the service is financial, legal, medical or electoral advice.
11. Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts to keep the service running. They are not a payment for any service and give no advantage on it: no points, no rank and no influence over Faz, moderation or verdicts. Payment providers process them under their own terms, and refunds follow the provider's rules and the law that applies to you. We are not a registered charity, so donations are not tax-deductible.
12. Links and sources
Members cite outside pages as sources. Those links are references, not endorsements: we do not control the sites behind them and are not responsible for their content.
13. Changes to the service
Fazoh is under continuous development. We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause the service for maintenance. We try to announce significant changes to signed-in members before they happen.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using Fazoh and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the rules, or when the law requires it. Sections 3, 4 and 15 to 18 continue to apply after an account ends.
15. Disclaimers
The service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that member content, Faz's rulings or any verdict is accurate. You use the information on Fazoh at your own judgment.
16. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Fazoh is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions you make based on the service, for content posted by others, or for interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
17. Responsibility for your use
If someone brings a claim against Fazoh because of content you posted or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs it causes us, to the extent the law where you live allows.
18. Governing law and disputes
Fazoh operates under the law of the United States. These terms, and any dispute about them or about the service, are governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are heard in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you and we both agree to their jurisdiction. If you use Fazoh as a consumer outside the United States, you also keep any protection that the law where you live does not allow a contract to take away.
19. The U.S. laws behind these terms
These are the main U.S. laws that shape how Fazoh works, with their official texts:
- Member content. Section 230 of the Communications Act, 47 U.S.C. § 230: members are the authors of what they post, and moderating it in good faith does not make Fazoh its publisher.
- Copyright. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, and the U.S. Copyright Office's Section 512 resources: how notices and counter-notices work, on our Copyright and DMCA page.
- Intimate images. The TAKE IT DOWN Act, Public Law 119-12: intimate images shared without consent are removed within 48 hours of a valid request.
- Children. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule, COPPA, 16 CFR Part 312: Fazoh is not directed to children and requires members to be at least 16.
- Privacy. U.S. state privacy laws, including California's, overseen by the California Privacy Protection Agency, and the FTC's privacy and security guidance: see our Privacy notice.
- Accessibility. The Department of Justice's ADA guidance on web accessibility, met through WCAG 2.2 at level AA: see Accessibility.
- Delaware law for everything else these terms cover: the Delaware Code.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. The date at the top shows the last update; for important changes we tell signed-in members before they apply. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
